A colt by Dialed In turned in the co-fastest quarter-mile work of the week during Saturday’s Under Tack Show for the June 12-14 OBS June Sale of 2-year-olds in Training.
The colt, hip No. 701, was timed in :20 3/5 [WATCH BREEZE].
“It was a good work, he’s a nice horse,” said consignor G.W. Parrish. “He had prepped well and I felt sure he’d go fast.”
Parrish purchased the colt for $40,000 at last year’s Keeneland September sale.
“I liked his conformation and I liked that he was by Dialed In,” Parrish told the TDN. “He was a well-built, sturdy horse.”
Parrish has already had luck selling offspring of Dialed In. “This is my third one,” he continued. “I had two fillies and they both sold well. I had a filly named Phone Chick ($125,000) and one named Oozle ($190,000) and they ran pretty well.”
Hip No. 701 is scheduled to sell during Thursday’s session.
A leading Fourth-Crop Sire of 2019 with $3.1 million in progeny earnings to date, Dialed In has four lots still listed to sell in this week’s auction, which begins daily at 10 a.m.
