Strive for Glory got the best of Air Force Jet by three-quarters of a length in the $53,000 U. S. Navy Flag Tipperary S. on July 4 at the Irish track to give the 2-year-old Dialed In colt his first stakes win.
Near the back of the field for the better part of the straight five-furlong turf affair before mounting his challenge in the middle of the track, overtaking the runner up in the final sixteenth to secure the win (VIDEO).
A debut winner on a synthetic surface in late April, Strive for Glory is now 2-0-1 in four starts for owner T. W. Morley.
Strive for Glory was bred by Michael and Amy Feuerborn, and is the first foal out of four-time stakes winner Chu and You. She sold for $80,000 at the 2018 Keeneland September Yearling sale.
Dialed In has accounted for 11 stakes horses this year and is again among the leading sires of his generation.
