Tap and Spin led the entire way in her May 27th debut in a 4 1/2-furlong maiden special weight for 2-year-old fillies at Lone Star Park to score comfortably by 2 1/4-lengths.
The bay filly is top-10 First-Crip sire Tapiture’s second winner from just three starters. The Darby Dan stallion has a trio of runners entered later this week.
Tap and Spin set all the fractions in the Memorial Day contest, and other than some early pressure from Lauras Centralbank in the first furlong, she was in control the rest of the trip to win with something in reserve.
Tap and Spin races for Keene Thoroughbreds and was bred by Robert C. Francis.
